Welcome

The College offers a four year B.Ed. degree, as well as B.Ed. Hons. and M.Ed. for post-graduate students. While Cedar College is dedicated to academic excellence, the spiritual growth and well-being of its students are of primary importance. Students are encouraged to be involved in their communities and make meaningful contributions.

Message from the Director

The need for Christian teachers increases year by year. As secular humanist philosophy captures school systems, it is crucial that Bible-believing educators seek to spread the Light of the Gospel through their profession. Cedar College of Education is there to equip them for this ministry. Our prayer is that each CCE graduate would be an effective instrument in God's hands.
Director of Cedar College of Education (Mr. K. Olsen)

4th year outreach - Western Cape 2011

The annual CCE 4th-year outreach took place during the first two weeks of the July holidays. Our team of 2011 included 17 of the 4th-year students and 6 lecturers. We set out on a sunny Saturday morning, loaded with “padkos” and very excited. The trip was to be a circular route from Natal to Virginia (KSB Mission Goldfields), then on to Moreson Mission at Malmesbury in the Cape Swartland. Coming back through the Eastern Cape, we would visit the Williams family on their farm close to Jeffreys Bay, after which we would tackle the last stretch of more than a 1000km back home.
